Gorki Park***

This café/restaurant is named after the historic and architectural monument of moscow. The park has been formed in the late 1920s along the river Moskwa. Going to the Berlin location of Gorki Park you should try the Gorki lunch. It always includes an apple juice, a water or a coffee. The food is varying every day; you’ve got to choose between stuff like cold peanut-soup, blini rolls with vegetables or pasta with capers.

Pappa e Ciccia*****

Compared with the Gorki Park it is much more elegant. It’s the perfect address for a date or something similar important. Of course, it is also a little bit more expensive. But we still haven’t reached the Grunewald standard. Especially these days you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful evening sun at the corner of Schwedterstraße and Choriner Straße. They are very friendly and the italian cuisine is splendid. Also, they have abolished all clichés for the benefit of modern interior design.

Fabisch Restaurant****

The Fabisch, that is located on the ground floor of The Circus Hotel, is also a very elegant address. A friend of mine works there and it always feels comfortable and cosy. Of course I am not the most objective person in this case, but I guess also many other people will notice the friendliness of the personnel. Still, the Fabisch restaurant does not seem hail-fellow-well-met, but rather elegant and professional. Apart from the breakfast menu I cannot really judge the food there. Why don’t you stop by the next time you are near Rosenthaler Platz and find out yourself!
