An Englishman in Berlin

Paul’s Boutique indeed is just as casual and cool as its name sounds. The facade is decorated with an artful picture from Mymo, which draw my interest even more. Since the Pictopia Festival last year the works of Mymo no matter where I found them always attracted me in a positve way. But back to Paul’s Boutique: I rarely read such a likeable About Us on a website.

One thing we discover is that Paul’s should have been a record store in the first place… But still the plan to sell Vintage and brand new Cheap Monday clothes in Mitte works! That’s why one can find Paul’s in three different places in Berlin. Here you can see some impressions of the so-called Chapter Mitte store on Torstraße. You will find the other ones here. Quote: “It all sounds bigger (and more complicated) than it actually is…“

And who knows, maybe the distinctive abbreviation “PB” at some point will be the new “LV”, “YSL” or anything like that. But still we all know that vintage could not exist without high fashion. Forasmuch the world will keep turning to that effect. However something in between is absolutely necessary as well. And this is the reason why Chapter Mitte decided on both of it: the mixture of old and new. Even more precisely? -Vintage leather jackets, Vintage shoes for him and her, Vintage sun glasses and jewelry, but also a bit of the Swedish label Cheap Monday.
