White walls? – No way. Not in this particular gallery. At Christian “Meeloo” Gfeller and Anna Hellsgard’s place it is different. And that is really refreshing, considering the gallery scenery in Berlin! How can describe it adequately? – It just feels easier and simply freer, but still not unprofessional. Surely your first impression will probably be one a showroom or a store. It’s been two years now, since they’ve opened their place on Torstraße 110 with Alain de la Mata. So these guys are really no newcomers.

Quite the contrary: Walking down Torstraße these days it rather feels that Bongoût has become a constant element.

All the different streams are represented at Bongoût’s. So you are not only getting the usual art, but also sounds and visuals.

As you can see on the picture above sometimes even really cool designs are somehow ending up on t-shirts which, of course, are finding their way back to Bongoût’s. I guess that’s another thing most galleries could learn from, don’t you think?
