Very soon, these people will award the precious golden and silver bears selected celebrities. At the same time you can visit the drive-in cinema with your girlfriend or boyfriend. Not the musician, but the artist Phil Collins has spared no effort to arrange many cars to watch videoart and movie classics. Isn’t that just classy?! But whoever prefers the actual stage to the cinema, can pay Prater a visit and watch the thriller Die Zofen. But be quick if you are interested because it’s a one-time event. I would say, since her life had been made into a movie (2009, Jessica Schwarz in the leading part), even people from my generation know about her dazzling career and moving life. She really was a pop icon. Until the 30th of march also the Deutsche Kinemathek (German museum for film) is honouring her with the exhebition Romy Schneider: Vienna – Berlin – Paris. That takes us back to art: The great photographer F.C. Gundlach who was recently curating the exhebition Werkschau 2 of the young photographer Andreas Mühe, is showing a substantial part of his own work in the Martin-Gropius-Bau since mid-november. Now, let me finish off with a little hint regarding vanguard popmusic: Friska Viljor are very close by on the 19th of february. They are not playing in Berlin, but I can assure you that it is worth the trip to Waschhaus Potsdam!
